Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $91,404.00 5 to $110,000.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements). 

What You'll Do

Our Olney, IL site makes white distilled vinegar.   This site has around 14 employees.

Responsibilities:

  1. Management of the Production team on a day to day basis
  2. Management of the direct spend associated with production
  3. Efficiently execute the production schedule
  4. Develop and maintain efficient SOPs in collaboration with the site engineers
  5. Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department, both supervision and operators
  6. Communicate and enforce regulatory & Kerry standards within the plant
  7. Drive operational efficiency initiatives 
  8. Manage the plant production department within budget.
  9. Positive working environment driving a continuous improvement theme
  10. Work in collaboration with HSE officer to ensure a safe working environment

What You'll Need To Be Successful

  1. BS Required preferably in Chemical Engineering
  2. HACCP and food safety experience preferred.
  3. At least five years in leadership role required.
  4. Experience in food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
  5. Analytical skills.
  6. Continuous improvement understanding.
  7. Thorough understanding of unit of operations.
  8. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology.
  9. We are looking for an experience Production Manager who has preferably worked in the fermentation and oxidation processes.   
  10. Union experience a plus but not required.
  11. Strong communicator, holds employees accountable, 
  12. There could be some travel involved at times.
