About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Engineer for a fixed-term contract of 18 months at our plant in Olesnica, (near Wroclaw), Poland. This is an on-site position Monday- Friday 8-16.

A Technical Project Engineer at Kerry in Oleśnica, Poland, is responsible for managing and delivering technical projects within the company’s food and beverage production facilities. This role involves overseeing project planning, design, and implementation of process improvements or new installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including production and maintenance, to drive efficiency, optimise operations, and support the continuous development of manufacturing processes. Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills are key to this role.

Key responsibilities

Conception and design of a project.
Creation of a schedule of activities.
Creation of necessary documentation.
Monitoring and reporting the progress of the work.
Preparing cost estimates, dealing with the budget.
Day-to-day monitoring of results, making changes to the project.
Contact with clients, suppliers, responsibility for preparation of offers.
Negotiation of contracts with contractors.
Improvement of project tasks.
Cooperation with other departments of the company.

Qualifications and skills

BA or higher level in technical studies.
Experience in project management.
Conscientiousness and responsibility.
Organisational skills.
Fluent Polish and very good written and spoken English - essential.
