What you'll do

  • Drives continuous improvement, cost efficiency, troubleshooting existing products and processes, optimization of existing processes.
  • Ensures the smooth scale up of products (NPI) from the pilot plant to the production plant.
  •  Consults on special projects from customers to understand performance requirements, quality aspects, and reproducibility of Kerry’s Cell Nutrition solutions, supporting TSS investigations as needed. 
  • Ensures formulas/recipes are accurate and up to date in HMI control systems (iFIX). Technical lead on cross-functional teams in Norwich operations.

What you'll need

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BS) in a related science, such as Food Science, Chemistry, or Biochemistry. 
  • Familiar and comfortable with statistics and process control systems. 
  • A  3-5 years experience in the food or pharmaceutical ingredients industry, with strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) is a plus.  
  • Experience with food processing equipment and processes (evaporation, spray drying, freeze drying, dairy/meat equipment, centrifugation, filtration, sterilization, pasteurization).
