The Maintenance team works 12-Hour Shifts, Rotating from Days to Nights Bi-Weekly
What You'll Do:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician Electrical works with the team to complete Preventative Maintenance, equipment Troubleshooting and repairs, completion of assigned work orders, building repairs, and equipment installation all in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. - Will perform both mechanical and electrical work, including pumps, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance – Cleaning, lubrication, testing, adjustment, part replacement, calibration, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair or replace electrical instruments and devices such as temperature, pressure, level, position and other sensors.
- Read schematics, prints, maintenance, and operating manuals to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment.
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissors lifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Fabricate, repairs, or rebuild components and sub-assemblies.
- Communicate with maintenance team members other across departments to report and resolve issues.
- Complete verbal and written work orders as assigned.
- Document work in CMMS system.
- Related duties and tasks as assigned.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance related position
- Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following:
- Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication – nice to have not required
- Piping systems – sanitary for product flow, steam piping, and pneumatic.
- Electricity – 120-480VAC mostly motors
- PLC troubleshooting – a plus
- Process control instrumentation – VFD, Photo eyes, prox sensors, HMI and MORE.
- HVAC systems – exhaust fans, floor fans, and HVAC
- Process equipment – pumps, motors, filling, capping, labelers, packing, and sealing equipment.
- Personal Computing – mostly outlook, word, and SAP (work order processing)
