Niagara Falls, NY location produces organic salts, including propionates and acetates, serving Pharmaceutical, Food, Feed and Technical Industries.  With this long-standing and fully automated manufacturing site, Kerry offers world class quality products to a global market.  Our products fill vital needs in a broad range of applications that are essential to everyday life including food preservation, antibiotic formulation, dialysis treatment, energy production and more.

$34.13/hour; $5,000 sign on bonus; start out at 8 hour day shifts, after 120 days switch to 12 hour rotating shifts (6 am – 6 pm; 6 pm – 6 am).  OT offered, not mandatory

Key responsibilities

Performing services to property and equipment as prescribed to maintain the plant.

 

The job functions include but are not limited to:

1. Pipefitting
2. Machining
3. Mechanical repairs to equipment   
4. Welding and brazing  
5. Building service and repairs
6.  Installation of equipment and supports
7.  Housekeeping
8.  Various types of work necessary to support operations of the plant
9.  Analyze problems and troubleshoot equipment to effect resolution

10. May be required to move or lift 50lbs

Qualifications and skills

There are a few requirements you will need to be safe and successful in this job.

 

• Education: High school or equivalent
• Required Knowledge:  Rigging, welding theory, pipefitting, pump repair
• Experience Needed:  Journeyman, Plant Maintenance, Mechanic or equivalent.

 

The starting wage for this role is $34.13 per hour.  This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.   In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
