What you'll do:


The Brands Culinary Manager is a technical manager role on the Foodservice Brands team, providing the training and technical demonstration support for Brands Sales Teams (Field Sales, OnSite, Distribution Development Team) and external broker sales teams, as well as working with Brands Marketing on product launch trainings and market activation needs for all food brands (Golden Dipt, GL, Kettle Collection, G&L, Sprinkle King, Wingers, SnowFlake). The successful candidate will be action orientated and a highly collaborative individual, with the ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical and detailed execution.

Other specific areas of focus for the Brands Culinary Manager will include:

Lead Culinary Trainer
Creating and executing training curriculum and initiatives for existing portfolio and new product launches for internal and external sales teams across North America
Maintain all training content and curriculum to include both in-person and virtual training options
Responsible for one-one-one, peer to peer trainings for sales and r&d team members.
Support Brands Sales Teams with activities that may include, but are not limited to:

Recipe creation (seasonal, brand specific, etc.)
New Product testing, validation and support           
Work with Activation Mgr to ensure updating of Info decks, product nutritionals, flavor trends and market landscape
Conduct activities to increase understanding of competitive landscape (competitive advantages, disadvantages, brand gaps, product cuttings, competitor matrix, etc.)
Provide sales call “Debrief reports” for all national and large regional sales presentations to communicate vital details back to CE & Brands Marketing teams.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop unified message comprised of:
Sales Selling Kit/Tool Kit Creation (multi-unit accounts, regional tool kits, Asian, Hispanic, etc.)
Social Media content collaboration with Social Media team
Industry and market specific insights
Participate in demonstrations and judging responsibilities at select brand and/or partner sponsored events.
Tradeshow activation/participation to further demonstrate the capabilities of the brand products.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Recipe Development and Promotion
Participating in Food/Culinary Creative needs (video demos, photography shoot support, tradeshow planograms, etc.)
Fielding on-demand questions from sales and customer care
Preparing food prep/demo components of customer presentations and presenting on location
Assisting with culinary/food needs in the Corporate HQ.
Travel up to 40% for support of key accounts and sales initiatives.

What you'll need to be successful:

 

Must be ACF Certified

10+ years of culinary experience supporting culinary technical needs with a manufacturer, non-commercial organization, broker or CPG organization

10+ years representing organizations and teams at industry tradeshows, conducting product demonstrations and featuring showcase items

10+ years working with sales teams to activate large customer opportunities (food presentations, product cuttings, etc.)

8+ years providing culinary training (product 101, advanced culinary, etc.) for sales teams (internal and external)

3+ years providing virtual culinary support for customer needs

5+ years collecting competitor insights, supporting market-related NPD Launches, GTM Activations and other marketing related needs

Highly collaborative team member

Ability to travel up to 40%

Remote applicants permitted but must live within 30 miles of major airport
