The Account Manager for Kerry’s East Coast division will play a critical role in driving customer relationships and revenue growth. This individual will act as the primary liaison between Kerry and its clients, ensuring satisfaction with the company's products and services while identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients on the East Coast, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
· Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients to expand Kerry's market presence.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, operations, marketing) to deliver customized solutions to clients.
· Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned territory.
· Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
· Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and solutions tailored to client requirements.
· Manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts to the management team.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and values.
Qualifications and skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relations in the food and beverage industry preferred.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence clients.
· Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Willingness to travel throughout the East Coast region up to 75%.
Salary Midpoint is $169,000, plus Sales Incentive Plan and Auto Allowance and Company Benefits
