What will you be doing?

Kerry is seeking to appoint a high performing Inside Sales Manager for the Supplement End Use Market in North America. The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for positioning and promoting Kerry’s solution driven product portfolio for the Supplement market, working with a cross functional team, Technical Business Development and Marketing to support sales efforts and growth. The incumbent in this role will work extensively with the customer’s product development, strategic sourcing, marketing, and innovation teams to design customized and value-added product solutions. This individual should be entrepreneurial and have a desire to treat their account responsibilities as their own business. The successful candidate must be able to speak confidently to Kerry’s capabilities while matching these capabilities to the objectives of the customer.

 

  • Manage a set of accounts and new customer projects with the goal of developing relationships and growth of these accounts against budgeted revenue and margin target.
  • Assist account managers with specific projects with both regional and emerging accounts. 
  • Promote Kerry products to new customers new via phone/email/digital marketing and on-site customer engagements when necessary.
  • Ensure all opportunities are maintained and managed effectively in Salesforce.com
  • Conduct periodic analytical reviews of customers’ performance and potential growth areas guaranteeing opportunities are closed and pipeline is full.
  • Manage the lead follow-up process from digital engagement to project initiation. 
  • Key member of the team that will be responsible for launching and managing the online chat feature on Kerry’s external website in North America.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in food science/business or related.
  • 5+ sales or business development experience, Supplements experience is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically, dealing with all levels within customers and internally.
  • Strong skill set in relationship building & delivering to an agreed target.
  • Ability to cross-sell & up-sell the Kerry Taste & Nutrition portfolio aligned to customer needs and innovation priorities.
  • Comfort in working with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to navigate internal networks and teams to move initiatives forward at the fast pace required by customers.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, digital lead management tools or a strong appetite to learn.
  • Self-starter with a high level of autonomy/initiative.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $89,175 to $134,984 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
