About the role


The purpose of the Global Early Careers Talent Manager role is to own and drive the strategic direction and delivery of early career programmes globally in the Kerry Group. Aligning the design of these programmes to business goals and strategy, enabling the attraction and development of key capabilities and building robust and diverse talent pipelines to drive future business growth.  


Responsible for the attraction, selection and development of early career talent, the Kerry Global Graduate Programme is one of our signature programmes and this role is significant to shaping and driving global consistency and commitment to the hiring of graduates, apprentices, and interns globally.


This role is perfectly placed to identify the future leaders for Kerry and provide them with optimum career development opportunities from the start of their careers. This role reports to the Global Director for Talent, Leadership & Inclusion.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the strategy for early careers, responsible for developing, overseeing and evolving scalable and sustainable talent development programs including internships, graduates, apprenticeships & early career talent.
  • Work as part of a Global Talent Team, creating a best in class talent experience, influencing all stages from attraction, through to development and progression of high performing early career talent in Kerry.
  • Senior individual contributor with the ability to influence across cultures and regions and the opportunity for people leadership responsibility in the matrix for Regional Early Career Leads and our Global Business Services Team who manage the day to day administration and management of all Early Career Programmes. This role will also partner with broader Learning, Leadership and Talent Colleagues globally.
  • Coach and support HR Business Partners and Talent Teams in Region to ensure programmes are rolled out consistently and achieving the required impact i.e. meet the strategic needs of the business and build future leadership capability and pipeline.
  • Thought leader, bringing outside in best practice trends and developments to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional multidisciplinary team to shape and evolve our Employee Value Proposition, and subsequent tailoring for Early Careers Programmes.
  • Support and influence the development of an innovative, engaging and creative talent attraction strategy for early careers e.g. delivery of memorable digital and social media campaigns that inspire and attract talent.
  • Responsible for ensuring diversity and inclusion strategies are implemented and success measures achieved.
  • Be a brand ambassador for Early Career Programmes in Kerry, communicating externally and building external networks and strategic partnerships.
  • Evaluate, select and manage external partners and vendors, successfully leveraging their expertise.
  • Analyse internal data and external benchmarks to draw insights, regarding themes, gaps and focus areas in partnership with Analytics teams and provide and implement recommendations that drive continued success.
  • Grow your own career by working on wider talent, learning and HR Programmes/Projects as desired.  

Qualifications and skills


  • Extensive knowledge and experience of early careers practices and programmes. Experience of designing and delivering end to end early career programmes e.g. graduate, apprentice and intern programmes etc.  
  • Experience in the following areas is desired: talent attraction and selection, assessment centres, learning and development, performance management, talent development
  • Proven track record of creating sustainable and scalable solutions with measurable results
  • Passionate about early career and talent development
  • Excellent Project and Programme management skills, including project planning, project governance and budget management
  • Stakeholder relationship management, collaboration and partnering skills and experience
  • Vendor management
  • Ability to operate at a strategic and operational level
  • Growth and continuous development mindset with a drive for self-development and a drive to understand the latest thinking in early careers from talent acquisition through to development.
  • Global mindset and enjoy working across cultures and regions. Able to craft solutions that speak to diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
  • Experience of working in fast paced environments, entrepreneurial environment, a self starter, highly motivated
  • Creative approach to problem solving, demonstrating innovative solutions that add value
