About the role

 

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the team on a maternity cover contract.

 

The Analyst will be responsible for administrative and analytical support for the Logistics team to ensure the delivery of business objectives.

 

They will be a key contact for the Supply Chain function and suppliers and internal stakeholders.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Raising and recording of Purchase Orders and Goods Receipts for the Supply Chain function and communicating with key suppliers. Ownership of this process.
  • Co-ordinating with Finance that all Good Received Notes are recorded in a timely manner to support month end accruals
  • Manage the tracking of all logistics services performed by the central logistics function and ensuring that approved rate cards in place
  • Co-ordinating the approving central logistics costs and ensure there is processes in place to confirm the service has been performed and the rates are agreed.  
  • Processing and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable ‘dispute’ transactions.
  • Responsible for cheque requests, supplier set up and other adhoc queries for Supply Chain function.
  • Responsible for weekly stock reconciliations.
  • Responsible for Chep pallet orders, reconciliations and account management.
  • Logistic Team Sharepoint Administrator.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improvement in current processes to increase efficiency.
  • In the longer term take on responsibility for the KPI reporting.

 

Qualifications and skills

 

Essential

  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Ability to work on own initiative and support with teamwork
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Efficient & organised, with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines

 

Desirable

  • Experience in Logistics
  • Experience in SAP
  • Experience in SharePoint
