About the role

We have an opening at our Global Innovation Centre in Naas, Ireland for the role of Strategy & Planning Analyst. This person will support the Senior Manager – Strategy & Planning and the broader Commercial & Marketing Teams in the development of the business strategy.

A member of the European Marketing Team, the Strategy & Planning Analyst will support strategic planning across the business, ensuring the development of integrated plans at both a category and country level, with clear KPIs aligned to business targets. Additionally, the Strategy & Planning Analyst is responsible for delivering regionally specific strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and support delivery of a programme of action to update strategic plans for Kerry Europe, ensuring
    • Key stakeholders are clearly identified, a project plan implemented and progress is tracked and measured
    • Support cross-functional teams in the development of their individual business unit strategies
    • Outline the capabilities required and roadmap (resources & people) to deliver growth
  • Facilitate alignment to enable the development and communication of an overall European business strategy and 5 Year Plan
  • Work with our Global teams in our strategy development approach – key tools, governance approach and process elements; ensure the localization of any approach is fit for purpose
  • Support the tracking and management of progress and effectiveness of strategy and execution
  • Develop strategy and planning capability
  • Develop and deliver region wide strategic projects as determined necessary
  • Contribute to the global evolution of the use of data and analytics to make fact base choices

Qualifications and skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related role, ideally with some PMO experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Master’s degree in a related discipline an advantage
  • Track record of leadership, mobilising teams and driving ownership & execution
  • Effective influencing and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • The ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
  • Strong Conceptual / analytical / quantitative skill-set
  • Proven resource optimization, team management and development skills
  • Comprehensive commercial and business acumen
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written).
  • Business related travel required
