About the role

Driving growth in the Foodservice channel is one of Kerry’s key strategic growth pillars in our 2022 business strategy. Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Director Foodservice Europe this role will be an integral part of the Business Leadership team, tasked with developing and executing a strategic growth plan for the Foodservice Brands portfolio into Europe & Russia.

Directly managing a portfolio of brands this is a challenging role with a broad remit from strategic development, market/consumer/end user research, brand positioning, media planning and in market execution & evaluation. These brands include the 3 global brands in the Kerry T&N portfolio – Da Vinci Gourmet, Island Oasis and Ravifruit, as well as a number of regional brands. A strong marketing background is essential along with strong team management, project management & leadership skills.  A background in the food/beverage industry and genuine interest in food is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the planning process for developing and executing the Foodservice brand strategy.
  • Support the Strategic Marketing Director with market intelligence, competitor, customer and consumer insight to drive technology development capability, in conjunction with RD&A, facilitating step change.
  • Lead the development and execution of the marketing growth drivers across European to facilitate the acceleration of the relaunched Da Vinci Gourmet brand and the rapid market expansion of the Island Oasis brand and Ravifruit brand.
  • Drive knowledge and expertise of prioritised end use markets to drive opportunity across Europe.
  • Strategic development and execution of the brand portfolio strategy for Europe, ensuring regional relevancy competitive differentiation, sustainable growth and profitability . Including responsibility for all elements of the marketing mix from packaging, pricing, positioning and promotions and evaluation of same.
  • Work in close collaboration with the commercial and finance team to build strong trade marketing campaigns to drive growth with our existing customers and build solid partnerships with new customers.
  • Development of long term insight led Innovation platforms and pipelines and management of market specific innovation / renovation for brands and own label product pipeline from concept to launch.
  • Drive the digital agenda across our branded portfolio – from both a digital marketing and e-commerce perspective.
  • Work in close collaboration with colleagues in North America, LATAM and APMEA to drive the global agenda of our priority brands – driving efficiencies and working collaboratively to develop global marketing & innovation platforms
  • Support the Strategic Marketing Director in the identification of acquisition targets in Europe that would support our brand growth strategy.
  • Management, development and coaching of the Brand Team.
