SAP Solution Manager - WM

About The Role

 

We currently have an opportunity for a Solution Manager (Warehouse Management) in our Global SAP Team deploying & enhancing our global template worldwide. This person will work in the Connected Supply Chain Portfolio team covering the areas of Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Warehousing and Global Trade.

 

Candidates must be willing to travel to mainland Europe, South America, US, and Asia to support the deployment of our Global SAP Solution.

 

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas each week.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform the role of subject matter expert for your area of responsibility.
  • Coordination & management of the AM support process, including service requests, incident reviews and minor enhancements.
  • Coordination, management, and closure of program tickets for your area.
  • Coordination, management & approval of transport releases through the test landscape.
  • FF approvals as delegate
  • Generation of status reporting for your area as appropriate – weekly status meetings, project reporting etc.
  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEFWs (Reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms, and workflows) and peer review as appropriate.
  • Lead and support deployments and projects on Masterplan using programme disciplines and steps (testing, BST,COR, Go-live and PGLS)Help to design, build, test and deploy the Global Warehousing solutions for Warehouse Management (WM) by working closely with other team members and consulting partners.
  • Actively own, promote, and improve our global Warehousing solutions and processes.
  • Prepare for and partake in design confirmation on future enhancements to the Global template.
  • Lead the relevant activities for your area in site preparation, cut-over, and post-go live support.
  • Ensure release documentation is prepared to a standard for their area.
  • Validate training material developed by the training team.
  • Contribute to Global Warehousing Solution Reference Groups.
  • Lead a team of SAP analysts working as part of the WM team to deliver SAP deployments and enhancements.
  • Provide input into goal setting and development plans of team member’s process.
  • Provide input into resource planning for the WM team.
  • Develop and maintain ICT BCP plans.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • Degree in ICT, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Experience in a similar role and environment.
  • Previous experience with SAP, either in a business or ICT role, with experience in the modules WM is essential.
  • Experience in an ERP deployment project lifecycle including design, configuration, test, data conversion and implementation of the technical aspects of the solution.
  • Experience in one or more of the following manufacturing areas is a plus (Operations, Quality, Warehousing, Engineering) but not a necessary requisite.
  • Prior experience of working with users in a Manufacturing environment would be a plus.
  • Experience in the preparation of process design workshops and documents
  • Experience in the preparation of functional design documents and test scripts
