About the role

We currently have an opportunity for a SAP Business Analyst Production Execution (SAP PP-PI) in our Global ICT Team deploying our global template of solutions such as SAP, MII, MES systems worldwide selectively connecting with our plant systems to generate fully integrated solutions. We are managing parallel releases in complex cut-over environments which require a high level of project management discipline, deep Manufacturing, Supply Chain and SAP knowledge and an appreciation of change management.

 

The successful candidate will help to design, deploy and improve processes and ways of working aligned to our Global Operating model. This person will work in the ICT function  as part of the Global integrated operations workstream which covers which covers the areas of Engineering, Operations or Production Execution, Quality and Warehouse.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the deployment & enhancement activities through fit-gap analysis, superuser engagement, data solutions, testing, and training of Kerryconnect manufacturing solutions by working closely with other team members, the business and other consulting partners.
  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEFWs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Workflows).
  • Gather and evaluate functional & technical requirements, write functional specifications, coordinate with onshore and offshore developers, test scenarios and build solutions for key manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct functional unit & integration testing within SAP and other systems (e.g. MII, MES, SCADA), as well as support User Acceptance Testing & Business Simulation Testing.
  • Identify, build, test and implement changes to current systems with the objective to ensure compliance, security and  improved performance and/or sustainability.

  • Support the on-boarding, training and skills development of new team members.
  • Support cutover activities such as data preparation, data validation, configuration, system shakedown.
  • Develop, update and validate training material.
  • Business engagement activities with regional teams.
  • Provide application maintenance support to ensure service delivery requirements to live SAP sites are continually met.
  • Configuration of standard & custom SAP to meet the requirements of a manufacturing site/process.

Requirements

  • Broad understanding of the end to end supply chain processes within a factory (planning, scheduling, execution, quality and warehousing).
  • Passion for manufacturing technologies, equipment, automation and data flow.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in implementing SAP manufacturing modules or ICT infrastructure.
  • Theoretical and practical project management experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent decision-making and ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • A team player with strong inter-personal and communication skills both in a project environment and with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent document writing skills (e.g. functional specifications, business process design documents).
  • Very strong analytical skills.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Sciences or Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following manufacturing areas is a plus (Operations, Quality, Warehousing, Engineering) but not a necessary requisite.
  • Experience in the preparation of process design workshops and documents.
  • Experience in the preparation of functional design documents and test scripts.
  • Should possess excellent communication / client facing / problem solving skills.
  • Experience of technical infrastructure design and installation.
  • Fluency in English - both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel to mainland Europe, North America, LATAM and Asia to support this global system.
