We currently have an opportunity for the role of Senior Business Analyst for our SharePoint team. The Senior BA will be responsible for engaging with representatives across the organisation to add value and address business needs through the use of SharePoint and related technologies.


The Senior BA will sit as part of Kerry’s SharePoint team and will report to the Content Management Systems (CMS) Manager in the ICT function. The SharePoint team are responsible for ensuing there is a robust intranet and collaboration platform for Kerry’s 24,000 employees. The team consists of Ireland-based business and technical leads as well as offshore Application Maintenance and Development leads. The BA will work closely with these groups as well as business representatives.



The core responsibilities will include:

  • Business requirement development with leads from all parts of the business. Production of business requirement documentation, wireframes and other functional and business-facing documentation
  • Act as a bridge between IT and the business stakeholders, representing business challenges and requirements clearly to technical resources and relevant points of technical designs and constraints to business resource
  • Prioritisation of business requirements and projects across the portfolio. Management of a project funnel and tracking documentation
  • Advise the business on the most appropriate solution to meet business requirement
  • Liaise with offshore Application Maintenance and Development Resource teams
  • Managing the migration of data between applications and platforms
  • Train business leads on SharePoint functionality and support on user adoption


Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in ICT, Business or other related discipline
  • 3+ Years post graduate experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or related role
  • Excellent document writing skills (e.g. functional specifications, business process design documents)
  • Excellent communicator with experience of managing relationships with a range of stakeholders, including those at a senior level.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online and associated collaboration technologies is desired but not required
  • Project Management qualification desired but not required
  • This job will be based in Kerry’s Naas Corporate ICT Building but may require occasional travel
