About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to join us as a Global Head of Sensory and Consumer Product Research Taste. Using all of our internal expertise, the candidate will ensure Kerry sensory and consumer product research is a differentiating partner to the business in driving profitable growth.
The successful candidate will be a key part of the Kerry Taste transformation and will be pivotal in solidifying the technologies and practices to push this project forward. Leading a team of SPCR specialist you will get a true understanding of our consumers and contribute to deliver our mission of being a non-disputable leader in Taste
Whilst our preference is for this role to be based from our Global Technology and Innovation Centre in Naas, Ireland There is also a possibility for the role to be based from or Beloit, Wisconsin, Clark, New Jersey, Mozzo, Italy or Singapore
Key responsibilities
- Develop the strategy for Global sensory and Consumer product research as a differentiator and competitive business advantage
- Align, and implement the best structure for each region, including location and resource planning
- Matrix management of Regional leads
- Maintain Globally Standardised methodology and introduce new methodology in relation with consumer insights and EUM strategies
- Standardise training across RDA teams
- Deliver as an innovation partner to ensure sensory proof of concept for Innovations
- Act as Global Strategic Marketing Partner to develop consumer insights to better drive consumer and product understanding.
- Establish external sensory panels
- Involvement in major customer projects, including recommendation of methodology and resource
- Build internal and external ecosystem.
Qualifications and skills

Minimum undergraduate Science Degree

Previous experience in leading sensory teams within a Flavour / Taste company or Food/Beverage CPG

Global View and ability to matrix lead a geographically dispersed team

Strong business acumen with the ability to achieve objectives by influence
