About the role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for delivering excellence within asset management? We are currently recruiting for a Global Asset Lifecycle Manager and drive the development and implementation of asset management strategies that align with our company's goals. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective management of all Kerry assets, maximizing their value and supporting our strategic objectives.
This truly is a global role, the successful candidate can be based in Europe, North America, Latin America or Asia.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy with measurable targets.
- Document assets at the component level for global benchmarking and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Oversee all asset lifecycle activities, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
- Enhance the maturity of asset management practices within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 55000 standards through certification and best practices.
- Develop and execute a Plant Asset Management (PAM) strategy with clear, measurable goals.
- Manage obsolescence risks and develop plans for the replacement or upgrade of obsolete assets.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive asset records and utilize data analytics for decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset management.
- Manage asset management budgets and provide accurate expenditure forecasts.
- Provide support to engineering projects by supplying asset information and managing asset transfers.
- Collaborate with other business functions to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure the right talent and skills are in place to support asset management activities.
Qualifications and skills
- Significant progressive experience in asset management, with a focus on lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles, including preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with ISO 55000 standards and asset management systems (AMS).
- Experience in a global matrix organisation is essential
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to asset management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement asset management strategies.
- Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
- Strong data, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
