In the role of Group Business Continuity Manager, you will support all elements of business operations in preparing and completing their business continuity plans.

Reporting to the VP of Operations Finance, you will liaise with Group, Regional and Local Operations teams to develop and maintain Business Recovery plans.  

Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • conducting business impact analysis,
  • developing and maintaining business recovery plans,
  • the creation and maintenance of Business Continuity Programs including training & testing.

    The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record of achieving results within complex manufacturing environments. This candidate will be strategic in their approach to the work, ensuring expected outcomes are realized, and do so with a strong bias toward action.

    This role reports to the VP of Operations Finance and supports the entirety of Kerry Group including all manufacturing facilities, shared services and customer centres.

    Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, test and refine business recovery plans.
  • Execute/support the facilitation of the Business Impact Analysis Program
  • Support the response to, and management of, disruptive incidents
  • Develop & communicate Business Continuity plans ensuring uniform understanding and effectiveness
  • Drive awareness and understanding of Business Continuity plans Create strong relationships with stakeholders to proactively seek process improvement and foster end-user adoption
  • Challenge and improve the proposed business continuity plan templates
  • Consolidate local and regional plans where possible
  • Present findings to executive management and provide strategic input into the BCP program improvements to address gaps.

    Qualifications

  • B.S. degree or equivalent required
  • Proficient in core technology applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required; Experience with SharePoint preferred 

    Your profile:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • An inquisitive mind
  • The ability to interact with others
  • Be based in Naas, Ireland and willing to travel extensively
  • Can understand complex matrix operations.
