About the role

 

  • Supporting Commercial and RD&A teams by blending, preparing & packing samples of finished products & raw materials.
  • Dispatching Samples with required documentation and according to WOWs and procedures 
  • Maintaining & replenishing raw material stocks as required.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working area in accordance with Hygiene and company food production standard.
  • Ensuring a safe & inclusive environment for the whole team.
  • Updating SFDC with pertinent information such as when dispatched or material shortages & delays as per WOWs.
  • Ensuring samples are compliant with business rules, confirming with senior staff where necessary
     

Key responsibilities

 

  • Prepares & packs samples as allocated to them. 
  • Sources materials, blends, prepares and generates documentation as required to enable dispatch of samples. 
  • Accurate preparation of samples in accordance with standards and process required.  
  • Samples must meet expected quality and consistency. Packed, labelled and prepared in a professional manner so as to meet our customers expectation and reflect Kerry's commitment to quality and values.
  • Dispatched on time to meet deadlines and OTIF requirements.  
  • Food safety and Hygiene standards to be complied with at all times both in sample preparation and in maintaining a hygienic and safe working environment. 
  • Maintain and record documentation.
  • Upkeep of equipment. 
  • Updating relevant systems & maintaining all relevant hygiene and housekeeping and laboratory standards. 
  • Support and assist with all tasks relating to the sampling operations when required.
     

Qualifications and skills

 

  • Relevant academic background with lab experience
  • Demonstrable interest in Food industry, technologies or processes. This may be reflected in education choices, previous employment experience or compelling commitment to this career path demonstrated at interview.
  • Where dangerous goods are shipped IATA certification may be required, if necessary the training will be provided.
