Quality System Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality System Technician to join the Quality team at our Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility in Mozzo (Bergamo). You will support quality system compliance activities, document control tasks and participation to audit preparation.

This is a 1-year contract and full-time position.

What you’ll be doing?

You will support the team by carrying out the following:

1/ Manage and/or coordinate, ensuring the timely updating of the Total Hub Data Base and Raw Material Risk Assessment (RMRA):

• Maintenance – updating of the RMRA of the Mozzo site  

• Continuous updating with QC Senior, New Product Introduction (NPI) and Food Safety Lead functions, if necessary.

2/ Collaborate with the Quality System Lead (QSL) in managing and/or coordinating:

• The quality system

• The Global Quality Management System (GQMS) / Intelex Platform, Intranet document system

• The "ALLERGENS" project

3/ Partner with QSL in ensuring compliance with:

• Global standard, as regards the quality system and Food Safety requirements

• The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certification standard (F22K)

• Other Food Safety Standards

4/ Work with your manager on the preparation for audits:

• From Customers and/or third parties

• Food Safety / Hygiene Inspections

5/ Cooperate with the SAP & INTELEX Superuser function in carrying out the various activities related to the role.

What you can bring to the role

- Previous knowledge of Quality Systems in manufacturing environment

- Fluent in Italian with a good level of English

- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.) with preferable SAP knowledge.

- Good documentation skills with strict attention to detail.

- Having a positive attitude, a desire to learn and be challenged.
