About the role

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join the engineering team at our Taste & Nutrition Manufacturing facility in Mozzo. This role works collaboratively with multi-discipline teams locally and globally (Quality, Production, Maintenance, etc.).

This is a 1-year contract and full-time position.

What you’ll be doing?

You will assume responsibility to support the team on dynamic and various production improvement projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, cost and development needs by carrying out the following:

  • Develop and implement an effective continuous improvement strategy for the plant through a sustainable delivery model.
  • Process Mapping verifies criticalities and identifies improvements.
  • Participate in the analysis of losses, identifying and defining priorities and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Ensure plant is using a standardised set of key performance indicators (KPI’s) as per the 1Kerry Plant Management System standard and that targets can be achieved through a rigorous performance management system. Support the implementation of the below:
    • Creating a Continuous Improvement culture whereby our colleagues feel empowered and supported to deliver on the targets identified.
    • Standard meeting governance that supports delivery of the metrics.
    • Performance gaps identified and trended with actions required to improve.
    • Alignment of the plant KPI structure with functional and global metrics.

What you can bring to the role

  • Preferably Degree in Engineering.
  • Few years of experience in Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence roles in production contexts.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package
  • Fluent Italian is mandatory and very good English.
  • Ability to synthesize, report and present the work done.
