Where you'll work:

At our Montebello, CA facility we are part of the Applied Health and Nutrition division We manufacture hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. If you’re looking to build a career in manufacturing with a team you can have some fun with, we might be the team for you. We are looking for someone to help us keep things running!

What you'll do:

Ensures efficient and continual plant vinegar production. Continually monitors production efficiency by taking and testing production samples, making nutrient batches and taking physical inventories.  Works alone in the plant during assigned shift and is continually checking production status while ensuring other sections of the plant are running smoothly.


  • Monitors the levels of approximately 36 tanks.  Knows the vinegar flow in and out of tanks.
  • Monitors the production by taking and checking physical samples on the auto titrator, Alkomat and spectrometer and making adjustments to ensure the production remains efficient.
  • Monitors two Romicon Filtration units; back flushing them once per shift.
  • Monitors nutrient levels in tanks, mixes batches as needed and adds them to tanks.
  • Monitors several pumping operations at the same time, aware of all pumping destinations and stops operations if necessary.
  • Monitors and checks the progress of the R/O units as well as the foam tanks and performs any needed actions to keep them running smoothly.
  • Watches and adjusts the production computer.
  • Filter vinegar through DE filter.
  • Load and unload and weigh tankers in and out as needed.
  • Fill out all paper work for tankers as necessary, ie. Bill of Lading, Certificates of Analysis.
  • Moves prepared mash volumes to designated feed tanks.

Qualifications and skills


High School Diploma or equivalent



  • Two to Three years in a food or beverage manufacturing company
    Ability to work alone.
  • Ability to make quick decisions based on work production needs.
  • Ability to monitor 36 tanks to ensure production of vinegar.
  • Ability to give complete attention to detailed work.
