About the role

We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial National Account Manager to lead Kerry’s product portfolio within the Convenience channel accounts across the Western United States. This role will collaborate closely with customer teams—including marketing, RDA, and buying—to deliver value-added solutions through customized, collection, and branded offerings. The ideal candidate will treat these accounts as their own business, bringing creativity, strong customer management, and a consultative sales approach to drive growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Account Management & Growth

    • Lead all sales efforts for assigned convenience channel customers.
    • Defend and expand existing customized and branded business through deeper account penetration and increased menu usage.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of assigned accounts.
  • Strategic Sales Execution

    • Identify and develop new opportunities for collection, customized, and branded products.
    • Create and execute strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with customer goals.
    • Manage budgets and spending to ensure delivery of sales results within approved limits.
  • Customer-Centric Innovation

    • Provide innovative, customer-focused solutions by understanding customer brands, platforms, and strategies.
    • Match Kerry’s capabilities to customer objectives with confidence and clarity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Orchestrate diverse projects across Kerry functions using Salesforce to manage customer activities.
    • Work effectively with internal teams to deliver best-in-class service and support.
  • Business Strategy & Analysis

    • Develop and implement pricing strategies.
    • Participate in annual budget planning and achievement.
    • Analyze business trends to inform growth strategies and manage the opportunity pipeline.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include BusinessSupply ChainFood Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Top 100 Chain/Convenience Customers in a foodservice sales role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasmself-motivation, and initiative, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to deliver concise and timely communications across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in integrating written, verbal, and presentation capabilities into the sales process.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Preference for candidates based in a home office within the Central or Western USA.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including visits to Kerry offices, manufacturing facilities, and customer sites. Additional travel may be required on an ad hoc basis.

The typical hiring range for this role is $123,859.00 to $213,784.00 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
