About the role

Located just outside of Chicago, our Melrose Park location is part of our Meat division and creates batter blends, pastry blends, and bread crumbs. We are a fast paced, never a dull moment manufacturing facility that comes together as a team to get the job done. With a growing portfolio, comes need to grow our team! Salary 

The typical hiring range for this role is $64,500 to $105,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Key responsibilities

Role Description:

•  Management of the Production team on a day to day basis

•  Management of the daily operational efficiency initiatives

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently execute the production schedule
  • Develop and maintain efficient SOPs in collaboration with the site engineers
  • Develop and maintain qualified personnel within the plant production department
  • Communicate and enforce regulatory & Kerry standards within the plant
  • Drive operational efficiency initiatives
  • Manage the plant production department within budget.
  • Positive working environment driving a continuous improvement theme
  • Work in collaboration with HSE officer to ensure a safe working environment
  • Responsible for manufacturing product to specification
  • Responsible for minimizing losses
  • Ensure food safety programs are instituted and followed
  • Management through KPI's
