We’re now looking for an ICT Application Support Engineer to join our team.  We’re looking for an individual that loves a challenge, loves food and who loves working in a really fast paced environment.  The job is based in Melksham, Wiltshire and offers a great salary and benefits.


So what’s this job all about?

Working in a small but highly productive team, you’ll be a key member of the Oakhouse Foods ICT department and will get to take real ownership for what you do.  This team is responsible for driving and supporting the ICT systems, applications and business intelligence to support Oakhouse Foods’ growth agenda.

The ICT Application Support Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day support of Oakhouse Foods end user issues with ICT systems.  You’ll take ownership of incidents and request and will provide helpful and friendly support to resolve IT issues in a timely manner.

You’ll be comfortable liaising with service providers when necessary and will carry out regular duties to maintain systems and keep the knowledge base up to date.  Working as part of a small and fluid team, you’ll need to be flexible and open-minded, happy to take on additional responsibilities to support the team and business where necessary.

  • You’ll need to have a background in and a passion for ICT, ideally having worked in a service desk or enterprise support environment.  If you’ve experience working in a direct to consumer business, even better!
  • You’ll need to be a strong and experienced user of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft, with a basic understanding of networks such as TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
  • You’ll be a people person with great customer service skills; able to support and communicate with users on all levels
  • You’ll be keen to get stuck in and flexible to work in a role where you will have a broad set of responsibilities
  • Plus you’ll love food and will be as excited as we are about working for Oakhouse Foods
