About the role

We now have a new opportunity available as a National Account Manager based in the UK. This is an exciting role that will provide the successful person, a rewarding career journey amongst an established and driven team and also the opportunity to deliver in this space and really 'own' it. 

Key responsibilities

  • Reporting directly into the Commercial Director Foodservice UK&I, the National Account Manager will have direct responsibility for a portfolio of accounts and play a key role in the delivery of our Beverage EUM and Brand strategy in the UK&I on-trade channel.
  • Key responsibilities include the delivery of account specific growth plans, budget development, forecasting, trade marketing in conjunction with Brand team and liaison with EUM and financial teams responsible for budget delivery. This will be achieved through a combination of selling the Kerry Branded portfolio and providing bespoke or own label product development where appropriate.
  • An additional key element of the role will be driving new customer acquisition across the Pub, Restaurant & Hotel Chains, through close collaboration the wider UK&I Foodservice sales team.

Qualifications and skills

  • Working knowledge of the Foodservice Market, preferably with direct exposure to the on-trade, but not essential

  • A history of growth results in the commercial environment

  • Ability to work at pace in an enterprise management environment

  • Ability to manage many stakeholders through excellent communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial in approach to work to deliver creative growth strategies and the ability to lead out execution of the plan

  • A beverage background would be ideal, but not essential, although an interest in food & beverage is essential

  • Regional Wholesale experience and an understanding of, would also be beneficial
