About the role

⦁ This is a critical role primarily focusing on managing and fostering Kerry's warehouse management in Langfang site.
⦁ Exposure to supply chain strategy and people management, etc.

Key responsibilities
  • Directly reports to Plant Manager, be in charge of overall site warehouse management;
  • Be responsible for department operations and safety. Reinforce staff management, goods and cargo security, ensure full implementation of company safety management policy. Prevent and eradicate safety risk incident.
  • Oversee entire warehouse personnel management, forklifts, DC of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Organize and monitor monthly meeting of the dept., participate daily morning assembly. Timely dispose and troubleshoot any warehouse related issues.
  • Be responsible for inventory control of raw material and finished goods in terms of production plan, get most from utilization of warehouse storage capacity to achieve cost reduction.
  • Carry out monthly, mid-year, and end-of-year inventory review to ensure the inventory tallied with the accounts.
  • Implement GMP and 5S management of the warehouse and forklifts to monitor the storage capacity and display.
  • Manage raw materials and finished products tracking in the interim period to minimize waste.
  • Manage soon-to-expire raw materials and finished goods tracking in order to reduce waste.
  • In terms of daily productivity and shipment orders of finished products, arrange personnel working hours and control their working overtime.
  • Liase and Maintain smooth communication and cooperation with sales, procurement, production and other departments to ensure operation efficiency of the warehouse.
  • Monthly analyse stock of finished products and raw materials, and raise follow-up measures to the existing problems.
  • Monitor daily inbound and outbound of raw materials and finished products in accordance with requests in SAP.
  • Stay on top of inventory of finished products, raw materials and packaging materials, as well as the cost of externally rented DCs’ operations covering Chilled room, Cool-storage, Refrigerated-storage.
  • Take charge of short-distance transportation business of frozen and refrigerated raw materials and finished products.
  • Supervise bidding and daily management of the packaging wastes disposal, such as recyclable cardboard boxes produced by the company.
  • Supervise waste disposal of finished products, raw materials and packaging materials.
  • Conduct training to subordinates to improve their professional capabilities;
  • Be responsible for KPI setting and annual performance assessment for the department staffs.
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Over 10 years of experience in Food manufacturing industry, 5+ years’ dedication in warehouse management. 5+ years of experience with a multi-national company or JV.
  • Sufficient knowledge of “Warehouse Management System”.
  • A working knowledge of foods or food industrial spanning different technologies and/or business units would be advantageous.
  • Good computer skill, familiar to the lotus notes, Ms office etc
  • Proficient in both oral and written English.
  • Proactive and fast action.
  • Good communication and organizational skill.
  • Team work spirit, energetic, honest and hard working.
  • Good Logical thinking and analytical thinking.
