About the role

As a Supply Quality Senior Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our vendor partnerships. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and enhance the performance of our suppliers, guaranteeing that they meet Kerry Group's rigorous standards across APMEA.

Key responsibilities

  • onduct audits of suppliers, vetting new ones and re-evaluating existing ones.
  • Establish protocols and standards for ensuring vendor quality.
  • Oversee quality assurance for designated global product categories.
  • Implement programs to enhance vendor performance in areas where it falls short.
  • Address and resolve complaints from suppliers, facilitating solutions.
  • Cultivate expertise in critical raw materials by studying processes, visiting multiple suppliers, assessing risks, and sharing knowledge.
  • Assess suppliers by verifying HACCP protocols, ensuring raw material compliance, and confirming capability.
  • Share internal and external best practices and industry trends.
  • Initiate process enhancements with key suppliers.
  • Provide support for new product launches with selected vendors as needed.
  • Train Supply Quality Auditors in designated category.
  • Design and conduct training sessions for Supply Quality teams.
  • Utilize external technical resources to enhance internal practices.
  • Monitor emerging issues and trends.
  • Manage the development of subject matter experts.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of quality within the Global Supply chain

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier auditing with a robust background in food industry requirements and various process technologies.
  • Ability to advocate for Kerry Group's needs and interests with vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating productive relationships with vendors, possessing the necessary business acumen to effectively manage supplier interactions.
  • Proficient in auditing, training in raw materials (ingredients & packaging Quality Control), food safety, HACCP food processing technologies, risk assessment, and specification development
  • Willingness to travel extensively (>70%). Preparedness for frequent travel between Southeast Asian countries, Australia & New Zealand, India, and African countries.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective problem-solving and complaint resolution, with the ability to teach and develop suppliers.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across different organizational levels.
