About the role

The primary focus in this role is on customer orders and supply planning to production. 

Key responsibilities

  •  Assessment of capacity and material status prior to any commitment of delivery dates to inter-company. Ensure intercompany orders, inventories, supply plans are properly managed including close monitoring of excess, slow moving, aging and phase-in and phased-out models.
  • Play a key role in facilitating emergent issues that impact on schedule and commitment. Work with functional team to find solutions and perform root-cause and gap analysis.
  • Regularly review and update all relevant compliance to ensure order processing and shipping is operating in the most efficient manner
  • Achieve FG inventory target set by Group, manage safety stocks & goods movement
  • Establish planning control check point and processes to drive and uphold commitment & supply integrity
  • Manage intercompany queries relating to order and delivery commitment
  • Manage intercompany complaints and follow up corrective action

Qualifications and skills

  • Recognized Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or any Business qualification
  • Minimum 2- 5 years’ experience in Planning roles in Supply Chain function / customer care / logistics
  • Good command of English
  • Good working knowledge of ERP, MRP II and MS Office application skills. Experience in SAP PP module and APO will be recommended.
