About the role

To assure compliance of raw materials used in Kerry products with appropriate regulations and to serve as a regulatory resource to internal and external stakeholders for raw materials related regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage technical data and documentation, ensuring that accurate and timely information is supplied to the customers, R&D, manufacturing and commercial teams. The individual will provide training for more junior members of the team.
  • Executes using conventional/ established processes and structures.  Delivers on technical projects requiring some problem-solving skills
  • Has awareness of team and department initiatives
  • Co-participation on simple projects
  • Completion and management of technical documentation
  • Product Specifications (Standard and Customer Specific). Document control
  • Develop an understanding of Food product labelling requirements
  • Develop an understanding of Food Legislation
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Coordinate response to customer specific regulatory documentation
  • Obtain essential skills in order to coach or conduct training of colleagues as required
  • Contributing to overall department Key Performance Indicators

Qualifications and skills

  • Degree holder in Food Technology, Science or equivalent.​
  • At least 5 years of experience in food industry in Regulatory, QA & RD&A.
  • Possess strong collaborating / communication / presentation and interpersonal skills​

  • Ability to perform in a team environment
  • Capable in leading and managing assigned tasks/projects in timely manner
  • Knowledge and understanding of food composition and chemistry is required.
  • Must be able to develop the ability to review, interpret and summarize technical information.
  • Must have the ability to quickly learn new systems/procedures, know how to utilize available resources and willing to learn.
