About the role

This position will lead new product commercialization projects among Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and factory teams across Southeast Asia region, ensuring that we are at the leading edge from a Speed & Quality perspective for NPI (New Product introduction).

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the Project Management of the Commercialisation of all new products in the Southeast Asia region
  • Ensure our customers have a seamless and positive NPI experience being delivered from Kerry
  • Implement a robust and consistent commercialisation process to ensure the interface with Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and other relevant functions is optimized for an on-time introduction of new products to the market
  • Manage NPI projects using SFDC commercialization module
  • Build and manage the project plan, define the critical path to ensure cross-functional team members are meeting agreed timelines
  • Provide manufacturing feasibility and cost information for input into launch decisions
  • Identify project resource requirements, pre-empting and resolving resource constraints as required
  • Prepare regular reports on the status of new products
  • Support the sales team with Commercialisation issues
  • Act as escalation point to problem solve and troubleshoot during commercialisation activity when required
  • Embed best practice into technology
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and skills

The successful candidate will possess the following experience / skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required in appropriate field of study
  • Minimum 5 years experience within the Food Manufacturing Industry with an understanding of end-to-end product flow and new product launch
  • A successful track record of accomplishments and continuous improvements

Competencies Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication, relationship management and influencing skills to lead and work across functions and levels within the organisation
  • Strong project management skills, commercial awareness and process enablement
  • Big-picture thinking, assertive and agile, able to positively challenge the existing norms
  • Ability to develop project plans, spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
  • System knowledge (SFDC and SAP) is a plus.
