About the Role:


The primary role of Regulatory Technologist is to work in partnership with the wider Kerry Regulatory team to support regulatory queries from internal and external stakeholders. Kerry is recruiting for multiple Regulatory Technologist roles who will support European countries / markets from our Global Business Services Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.


Therefore we have a demand for candidates who are fluent in English and another European language (specifically Italian, French, German, Spanish and Polish.


Employees who cover European countries / markets will need to be able to work from 2pm-11pm / 3pm - midnight (depending on European Daylight Savings) and should be already residing in Malaysia (due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions, we regret that we are unable to consider candidates who need to relocate in order to take up this position). 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the execution and operation of various Regulatory processes and procedures in an efficient and timely manner
  • Conducts administrative duties within defined guidelines
  • Manage technical and customers document and data accurately and to tight time scales. Executes using conventional/ established processes and structures
  • Create and maintain Technical documentation. Coordinate response to internal & external stakeholders by providing technical documentation
  • Liaise with Research, Development & Applications, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams for technical documentation review
  • Document control
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers                                                                                                                                                
  • Contribute to overall department Key Performance Indicators

Qualifications & Skills: 

•    Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
•    Minimum 1 year's of related experience in food industry in Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems or R&D 
•    Food industry knowledge 
•    Analytical, self-starter, decisive; able to take instruction and perform work accordingly
•    Possess good co-operation / communication / presentation / interpersonal and organization skills
•    Excellent communication skills
