About the role

The primary role of Regulatory Technologist in Data System team is to work in partnership with the Scientific Affairs, RD&A, Quality and Account Managers to support regulatory data and system queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting the execution of various Regulatory product and material documentation and requests in an efficient and timely manner
  • Execute Halal & Kosher registration by perform document compilation, on-line submission and maintenance of the certificate.
  • Support internal stakeholders across APMEA by providing system solutions according to business needs.
  • Create and maintain label templates via Loftware system.
  • Liaise with Regulatory, QA, Operations and RD&A to understand Loftware system issues and implement required fixes / changes.
  • Conduct administrative duties within defined guidelines
  • Responsible for managing and meeting individual and overall department Key Performance Indicators.
  • Coordinate and develop effective working relationships between internal (RDA, QA, Operations, Procurement & Commercial) & external stakeholders.  
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous excellence initiatives.
  • To perform any projects assigned from time to time by superior.
  • Remain fully flexible to meet business requirements.

Qualifications and skills

  • Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
  • Fresh grad or up to 2 years of related working experience in food industry
  • Basic knowledge in Halal, Kosher and Food Regulation
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience in SAP, Optiva, Power BI, Loftware and Salesforce systems an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and able to work well within a team.
  • Possess good project management, communication, presentation, inter-personal and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter and have strong drive-in continuous improvement with proficiency in problem solving.
  • Analytical, critical thinker and rational in attending to regulatory queries from customer with good decision-making skill and resolving arising matters.
  • Agile, adaptive towards rapid changes in a demanding fast-moving environment to perform well under pressure with open mindedness.
