Work Location:             1 Powerhouse, Selangor Malaysia

Reporting To:                Sales Director Industrial Retail

Travel:                          As and when needed within SEA
 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Deliver sales through the Kerry product portfolio (collection) and continually drive commercial effectiveness; be a product expert on our offerings and communicate the Kerry value proposition.
  • Develop and identify and onboard potential distribution partners to unlock effective routes to market for the Kerry portfolio within markets
  • Ensure the relevance of our portfolio by relaying timely customer feedback on taste and product performance while continually updating the long-term pipeline based on market opportunity and insights
  • Involvement in cross-departmental strategy building, budget planning and continuous improvement in middle/front office collaboration
  • Market mapping and support in further establishment and support of Kerry’s go to market strategy
  • Literacy of regulatory and legislation ways of working in Malaysia to support Kerry business.
     

Qualifications and skills

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with sales professional with 3-5 years in a multi-national Food ingredients or Flavour industry are preferred.
  • Previous experience in Managing Distributors will be an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of sales and account management practices and procedures with hands-on experience in multi-touchpoint selling (tele-sales, distribution)
  • Experienced in generating commercial pipeline on your own initiative, fostering, and cultivating relationships directly with senior stakeholders of client-customers.
  • To leverage prior experience of the Malaysia food and beverage industry to deliver short-term and long-term opportunities with Kerry
  • Handle a large and complex portfolio of products across multiple food and beverage categories while driving cross-selling and upselling opportunities while delivering customer value.
  • Comfortable managing both internal and external relationships in a matrix organization with capability to work cross functionally within the organization.
