About the role

As part of the Global RTR Digital Transformation Project team, the GBS RTR Subject Matter Expert will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Global RTR Initiatives. Working together with the GBS RTR Process Lead, the role will be expected to involve heavily in review, standardize, and optimize RTR processes, controls, and applicable systems. 

Key responsibilities

• Together with GBS RTR Process Lead to establish RTR To-Be Processes, Controls and end-to-end RACI
• Participate in and contribute to any RTR As-Is Process & Control Mapping, To-Be Design and solution workshops.
• Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, standardization, and optimization for end-to-end RTR Processes.
• Drive the process and control changes into our GBS centres and ensure new ways of working are a success.
• Working collaboratively with our GBS centres, Local Compliance/Finance, ICT, and various Group Finance Functions to align on RTR Process Standardization.
• To assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for RTR processes.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and Metrics to track performance.
• Provide training to GVS and other impacted functions/teams on process and control changes
• Undertaking system testing and reporting any issues as per the agreed plan and approach. Liaising with the project team and colleagues on priority issues for resolution in a timely manner.
• Supports GBS RTR Process Lead in deployment of various RTR Initiatives.
• Act as subject-matter expert on RTR processes, controls, and applicable systems.

Qualifications and skills

• Strong accounting and RTR process knowledge.
• Preferably more than 7 years general SAP experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on process and technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
• Previous experience in project management and/or deployment is and added advantage
• Good communication skills within a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter & team player with ability to work independently with limited supervision
