About the role

The Junior Account Manager role is based in the area around Frankfurt/Germany and have a high willingness to travel, even with external overnight stays. A driving license is essential.

Key responsibilities

As the Junior Account Manager you will work closely together with and support the sales managers and senior sales Manager. It will be your responsibility to help maintain, grow and identify new sales opportunities within your assigned accounts throughout the German speaking region.

As you become familiar with the products and clients, the role will grow in to a more independent sales role where you will also develop your own new clients. Within the foreseeable future the idea is that you will progress in to a Sales Manager position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Identify needs within existing account, compile quotes, close sales as well as managing and co-ordinating day to day customer needs.
  • Build on portfolio of satisfied clients and manage them thoroughly
  • Give presentations and/ or training
  • Regularly visit clients 
  • Creates sustainable profitability for Kerry through developing and executing a strategic plan based on a deep understanding of customer portfolio

Your Profile

  • You will have Successfully completed a degree in business administration, preferable with a focus on marketing / Sales.
  • Gained first experience within sales, account management, sales support, customer service and/ or client relationship management
  • Ideally have a solid understanding of web-based technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Germand and English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Ability to travel regularly 
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Fluent German and English, written and spoken is essential
