About the role

Supply Quality plays an important role in Kerry's ability to deliver quality that will satisfy our customer's needs and ensure that we supply the highest quality while also conforming to established requirements. Supply Quality CoS Technologist plays a crucial role in supplier qualification process and risk assessment. The role will also involve in communicating and implementing policies and procedures to ensure all tasks conform to the business needs, legislation and regulations applicable within the region and global customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the performance of CoS document management operations for Kerry Group regionally or sub-regionally
  • Manage supplier risk and approval governance on approved suppliers globally
  • Approval of Vendor-GS vendor-item relationship in SAP through ePIR system 
  • Manage supplier food safety data and documentation in Supply Quality systems and portal and ensuring data integrity within systems used
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure all conform to the food safety legislation and regulations applicable within the region.
  • Horizon scanning of emerging food safety and supply quality trends
  • Provide recommendations to the organisation regarding risks and solutions involved in Supply Quality
  • Responsible for providing existing suppliers’ information in event of serious issue if appointed through regional Food Safety/ QHS&E Lead
  • Partner with Procurement to ensure Master data is managed in line with global governance programs
  • Audit and management of Kerry Connect Supply Quality module master data to ensure governance programs are adhered to
  • Responsible and accountable for managing the CoS compliance team within the Supply Quality / QHSE CoE
  • Responsible for understanding functional training needs, skills gaps and defining and delivering training programs for the core and extended Supply Quality teams
  • Responsible for managing of CoS and overall accountability for existing supplier risk assessment and approvals, maintenance and governance
  • Sourcing and management of Supplier documentation for global supplier and region supplier.
  • Implementation of strategic initiatives

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or any related field
  • 1-2 years’ Quality  Assurance/ Quality System/ Quality Control or related experience in food manufacturing industry or fresh graduate with relevant internship experience
  • Strong background in food safety and legislation compliance
  • Knowledgeable in supplier risk and raw material management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and complaint resolution skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, coaching and conflict management skills
