About the role

 

Work Location : Pasir Gudang - Johor 

 

Reporting to : Engineering and Maintenance Manager 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

• Manage, supervise and provide technical advice which is related to mechanical mostly and provide support to other sub-dept as required
• Work on the plant maintenance assignment related to OPEX and CAPEX with proper justification, workplan, costing, payback and sustainability
• Able to work using SAP system to manage the maintenance jobs, spare parts and assets
• Prepare necessary report/training material and able to train and coach subordinates to upskill their technical knowledge on monthly basis
• Understand the GMP, HACCP and Food Safety requirement of the plant and ensure plant maintenance job are excocted as per requirement
• Identify, plan, execute and monitor maintenance jobs to strictly follow the Kerry Safety Standards, KIRMS, ISO45001, ISO14001 and local statutory requirement.
• Understand the Environment Sustainability objective and able to lead team to achieve the target given
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendor on the service and spare parts and ensure the maintenance budget are controlled and communicated effectively to Maintenance Manager and Engineering Buyer
• Provide technical support to Engineering Store as needed to ensure spare parts management follow the Kerry Standards
• To assist and taking over regular duties from the Maintenance Manager whenever requested

Qualifications and skills

 

• Degree in any Engineering discipline 
• At least 15 years working experience in related field 
• Certified Chargemen - AO min
• Good knowledge in electrical and instrumentation
