The teams work with site colleagues and vendors and consists of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, HR Operations and Payroll.

Key responsibilities

 

•Responsible for the monthly completion of the APMEA country ledger file reviews and consolidation of the APAC results in Hyperion
•Management of the monthly intercompany reconciliation process and reporting to HQ
•Preparation of the monthly APAC sub-region reporting and analysis of results
•Responsible for the team delivery of financial data and analysis reporting to APMEA management
•Assist in preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and other reporting requirements
•Assisting with year-end consolidation and APAC audit process
•Other ad-hoc assignments as they arise 

Qualifications and skills

 

•Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance, ideally with a professional accountancy qualification such as CPA / ACCA/ CMA etc. (candidates currently pursuing a professional qualification will also be considered)
•At least 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience in the related field is required; candidates coming from Practice / Big 4 background are welcome to apply
•Familiar with computerized accounting system and proficient in spreadsheet application (MS Excel)
•Ability to plan, prioritise, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Positive attitude, a team player with flexibility to work late during closing periods if required
•Good interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
•Self-motivated and attentive to details with strong analytical skills and initiative
