Key responsibilities
Ensure Raw material and Packaging material meet quality and safety standards.
Responsible for material safety and quality issue.
- To ensure all incoming RM and PM are within specification before release for use
- Reported to QA Manager on non-conforming material ( Major or Critical issue)
- If materials do not meet the food safety standard due to non-compliance, Site QA shall reject the material.
- If materials do not meet the quality standard, material attributes deviation, Site QA shall on hold the material.
- To make sure incoming record and IQC report is up to date
- Evaluate new raw material as per specification
Raw Material and Packaging Martial Non-Conformance issue
- Investigate, On hold/reject and to prepare complaint report to suppliers and review all NCR report from vendor, monitor the CAPA.
Compliance
- Perform Raw material HACCP analysis, Food Fraud Vulnerability Assessment and Mitigation Plan, Raw Material Packaging Foreign Matter Risk Assessment (Packaging Library).
- MDG, ECC and Kerry Track workflow approval and set up.
- Assign GS1 barcode no. to commercial team.
Packaging trial run, approval, prepare spec etc.
- To prepare, review packaging spec ( new or existing - if changed require), register and prepare DCN & distribute the spec to Incoming QC before stocks arrival - label, carton, film etc
- to attend all packaging material trial run , record the finding, join the inspection, review trial run report and sign off.
Audit Compliance : Prepare and Involved in certification/customer site audit.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent.
- Have at least 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control role in Food Manufacturing Industry.
- Knowledgeable in Food Quality Standards and Quality Management System.
- Strong Communication and Negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tool eg excel, word, and power point.
- Good command in English, both written and spoken.
