About the role

In this role, you would be responsible for overseeing every facet of the food manufacturing process, from managing production teams to guaranteeing compliance with stringent quality and safety protocols. Your duties would also include optimizing workflow and resource allocation to maximize efficiency while creating a collaborative atmosphere conducive to ongoing success in the industry

Key responsibilities

  • Achieves manufacturing staff objectives through effective communication of job expectations, continuous monitoring and assessment of performance, providing guidance and support, as well as implementing and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Sustains a proficient workforce by overseeing recruitment, selection, orientation, and training processes, while fostering avenues for personal growth.
  • Maintains smooth workflow by supervising process steps, adjusting variables, monitoring equipment and control points, managing personnel and resources, exploring efficiencies, implementing cost-saving measures, establishing reporting mechanisms, and promoting collaboration among departments.
  • Executes production plans by organizing personnel, ensuring tasks are completed, setting priorities, monitoring progress, adjusting schedules, troubleshooting issues, and summarizing production outcomes.
  • Guarantees equipment functionality by promptly arranging repairs and evaluating new technologies.
  • Offers comprehensive manufacturing insights by compiling, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating production performance records and data, and promptly addressing inquiries and requests.

Qualifications and skills

  • Applicants should hold at least a Diploma or Degree in related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is required.
  • Preferably experienced in the Spray Drying industry or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a production team in daily operations, including online monitoring, troubleshooting, and manpower management.
  • Proficient in computer skills and self-driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work in shift rotations is necessary.
