About the role

Work Location : Plentong - Johor

Reporting to : Engineering and Maintenance Manager

Key responsibilities

The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to perform effective effluent treatment process in the Treatment Plant continuously and complies with Environmental Quality Act 1974; Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009; and Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and its regulations. Upon completion of this competency unit trainees will be able to:

Organize IETS operation schedule
Supervise facility assessment
Handover shift duty assignment
Adjust operating condition within setting range
Supervise sludge handling
Coordinate in-situ instrumentation and equipment servicing
Decommission IETS operation (shutdown)

Qualifications and skills

SPM and above
IETS competent person BP/PCP
