About the role
This role will primarily be responsible for leading the production staff to meet production targets, key ratios, and KPIs, while ensuring a safe and efficient operation and producing products that meet the required quality standards.
Work Location: Jeddah - 2nd Industrial City
Key responsibilities

Ensure all relevant targets / KPI’s are met in adherence with the production plan and standards set

Ensure Quality and SHE standards are achieved and maintained in the department
-
Coordinating production activities with the maintenance, quality, supply chain and warehouse departments to achieve sustained and improved efficiencies

Expediting production, maximizing efficiencies and meeting production KPI’s and scorecard
-
Optimized use of SAP in production execution and perform personnel scheduling, reviewing production paperwork, collecting and tracking production data, and reporting information and variances to management
-
Deliver the department’s functional goals including financial, quality and people development
-
Communicate and keep team updated on all matters relevant to the department in a timely and appropriate manner

Promote and lead continual improvement of the performance of the department using lean/six sigma methodology and visual management tools

Ensure all operators are fully trained and that training happens according to process instructions with it being completed in a timely manner

Provide production plan updating for daily production meetings with key issues highlighted
-
Ensure that all data processing is done in a timely manner and is up to date and accurate

Ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with all company policies and procedures across all shift patterns

Establish and encourage a strong teamwork culture within the department
Qualifications and skills

Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in the chemical process or food manufacturing industry.

Proven people management experience, including performance management, employee training, and development.

Experience in cost management.

Strong technical knowledge of the manufacturing process with the ability to quickly identify and correct variances.

Ability to multitask and delegate tasks effectively.

Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and quality and hygiene standards for food manufacturing.

Experience collaborating closely with Quality Management and SHE Management.

Technical expertise in sauce and blending technologies is highly advantageous.

Proficiency in MS Office and work systems is essential.

Experience with quality and food safety systems such as FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, and ISO 18000.

Experience with SAP for production execution is a plus
