About the role

Based at Kerry-AATCO's Saudi factory, at 2nd Industrial City, Jeddah, the Production Scheduler is primarily responsible for the preparation and monitoring of production plans in accordance with demand plans, capacity and material availability.

Key responsibilities
  • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly production plans
  • Plan the Production to match order fulfilment by avoiding 2nd production run for the same product
  • Authorise and release daily / weekly schedules and batch sheets to all Departments concerne
  • Assess capacity and material status prior to any commitment of delivery dates to the Commercial and Customer Services Teams
  • Monitor production schedules in adherence to relevant requirements, ensuring delays are minimised and committed customer delivery dates are achieved
  • Liaise and interface with Operations and Commercial departments on any urgent orders that need to be prioritised to to meet Customer needs
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance and R&D with regard to any recipe changes / new product set-ups
  • Generate reports on Planned Production vs Actual Production on monthly basis
Qualifications and skills
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ “hands-on” experience in Manufacturing scheduling, co-ordination and production control function
  • Must have prior experience working in a fast pace Manufacturing environment; the preference is for someone coming from Food or Ingredients / Flavour industry
  • Good working knowledge of ERP (specifically SAP), MRP II and MS Office
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively and make informed decisions comfortably
  • Must possess the ability to enhance workflow efficiencies and effectiveness 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required when dealing with other functions / departments
  • Assertiveness, independence and self-motivation are essential traits to succeed in the role
