Reporting To: EUM (End use Market) Lead, Beverages


Are you an experienced R&D professional who is passionate about Food & Beverage, and are looking to develop your career in the Commercial function? Then this may be the next role for you! 


In this newly created role as a Technical Sales Lead at Kerry, you will develop, grow and consistently support our Beverage EUM (End Use Market) in the South East Asia region to own and lead the relationship between Customers and R&D by building top-to-top connect with Customer R&D Leadership, leading with insight and showing customers the value of Kerry’s technical capability and continually striving to improve the NPS for Kerry with identified key customers.

Key responsibilities

 

•Serve as day-to-day contact for R&D and Business Development and as required, the R&D / Category Teams in our customers
•Supporting R&D with building and application of ingredients to continue to deliver great tasting products to our customers and owning the product meets customer brief and expectation
•Refining with R&D, our offerings such that Kerry is continually seen as an Innovator of Choice
•Continually review the customer journey, identifying how it’s supported, taking a consultative approach in helping clients overcome issues and achieve goals
•Facilitate interaction and workflow between project team members, ensure deliverables are met on time and exceed customer expectations
•Prepare necessary content with the support of the matrix organisation to develop impactful presentations to delivery embedded and collaborative stories
•Increase adoption of Kerry technologies, ensuring retention, and high levels of customer satisfaction
•Establish a trusted relationship to help drive continued value of our products and services
•Develop customer presentations and compelling stories, communicate effectively with both internal and external teams to understand customer needs, maximize retention and growth, and communicate learnings
•Articulate the product specifications in customer and internal terms and support the relevant technical execution of Beverage briefs
•Stay well-informed of changes in competitive landscape to enable design of differentiated strategies and positioning customized to our portfolio
•Lead with technical insights and leverage customer/consumer insights to feed into innovation/renovation of our Offerings
•Align with R&D team to deliver overall cross functional excellence and consistent ways of working

Qualifications and skills

 

•Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Food Marketing with 4-5 years of experience in Commercial / Customer-Facing Roles or R&D / Technical Roles 
•Must have a strong technical background in Beverages from a Taste / Flavour environment to be able to understand customer needs and be the link to R&D
•Strong verbal and written communication, strategic planning, and project management skills
•Comfortable working across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment
•Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities
