About The Role:

 

Work Location: Istanbul, Turkey 

 

Reporting To: MISA (Middle West, Indian Sub-continent & South Africa) Pricing Lead based in Dubai 

 

This role will report to the MISA Pricing Lead, and be an integral part of the team in the TINWA region (Turkey, North and West Africa), partnering closely with the General Manager or TINWA to influence pricing decisions and financial strategies for the TINWA business. The key responsibility of the role is to provide accurate, timely and relevant information, specifically key pricing insights and strategies to support the growth of the business. This role will be expected to provide detailed insight into the drivers behind business performance and to liaise and support other functions to drive profitability improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

 

•Review and validate the commercial viability of the sales pipeline
•Lead the annual pricing renewal process, supporting the country commercial teams in pricing strategies to ensure maximum margin contribution for Kerry
•Support key, Must-Win Projects for the region, across functions and countries
•Liaise closely with the central teams regarding customer pricing; coordinate and support standardization / segmentation of pricing across the region and drive and support the commercial negotiation process
•Support the Finance Director, Sales Team and management to manage and enhance the margins within the business
•Benchmark costs internally and externally to provide strategic insight and to identify improvement initiatives; monitor, track and drive cost reduction for the business
•Drive integration of the R&D and commercial teams to ensure an efficient way of working
•Set up and roll out standardized WOW (ways of working) for Marketing, Sales and Commercial Finance teams’ customer presentations to ensure the optimal pricing outcome for Kerry
•Provide commercial support for relevant business projects and attendance at key sales meetings as required
•Provide leadership through role modelling of the key business strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

 

•Degree in Finance, Accounting or other relevant discipline with around 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar role; professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA required
Strong communication skills in both English and Turkish are a MUST with the ability to collaborate across functions to deliver One Kerry business
•Advanced Excel skills with familiarity in SAP and SFDC will be preferred; must be highly analytical and numerate with strong attention to detail
•Leadership role modelling to support and drive team to deliver business strategies 
•Possess a strong commercial and business acumen to review business performance and provide recommendations on strategic directions
•Driven, highly inquisitive, analytical, hands-on mentality with a high level of energy and the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
