About the role

 

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

 

Reporting to: Marketing Director MISA (functional lead)
                       General Manager, Turkey & North Africa (business lead)


The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the tailoring and activation of the EUM (End Use Mar-ket) strategies for the specified region and be accountable for the localisation and optimisation of Integrated Marketing. They will campaign for best in class execution in market in line with the EUM strategies for the region, harvest insights, sharing these with the respective EUM teams to inform EUM strategies and drive specialized and effective Marketing and Sales activities.

Key responsibilities

 

Strategy Setting:
•Working with the regional EUM teams to create consistent value propositions around collections and to promote technologies and solutions to customers within the scope of Bakery, Confec-tionary, and Dairy.
•Developing “Where to play”, growth strategies with aligned “How to win” commercial strategies through Kerry’s Channel activation model in collaboration with EUM Marketing Leads and Busi-ness Development
•Providing activation plans for specific Technology offerings; communications with Sales / EUM teams for internal Taste / AH&N (Applied Health & Nutrition) system sales
•Working with the Channel / Sub-Region Sales Lead to understand local marketing activation resource requirements, ensuring that it meets local customer value and is aligned to the wider Regional EUM strategies
•Developing and executing the digitally led integrated marketing plans with the central Digital team to generate demand aligned to business strategy

 

Opportunity Management
•Support the opportunity pipeline for both new and existing customers, including creation of customer value propositions and activation plans to go to market

 

Performance Management
•Monitoring and evaluating local campaigns and communicating to EUM leads and Sub-Region or Channel leads

 

Customer Management
•Supporting Sales with the execution of a differentiated Best-in-Class, Customer experience and engagement
•Establishing and sharing customer engagement best practices across all marketing teams to improve capabilities and campaign effectiveness
•Partnering Channel / Sub-Region Leads in collaboration with EUM Marketing Lead to develop a compelling story that delivers a unique value proposition for targeted customers and channel / region segments
•Account planning in collaboration with the Channel / Sub-Region Leads 

 

Insights
•Supporting Strategic Marketing in gathering insights to support EUM leads go to market
•Using data to assess success of previous campaigns/ initiatives and recommend corrective action where necessary

 

People Management
•Aligning with regional marketing leadership team to deliver overall functional excellence and consistent ways of working

Qualifications and skills

 

•Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar, with minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in the Food & Ingredients industry and having exposure to Dairy, Bakery and Confectionary seg-ments 
•Strategic "Subject Matter Expert" with strong commercial and technical acumen
•Highly effective in bringing together market intelligence to lead development of business strate-gies
•Possess excellent leadership and communication skills with credibility at senior level, and able to facilitate and collaborate across a diverse stakeholder base
•Demonstrable success at anticipating customer needs (internal and external) and directing change in execution accordingly
•Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate concepts and sales stories to a customer; fluency in Turkish is essential and capability in Arabic is desirable
•This position will involve some travel across the specified region as required
