About the role
This role involves overseeing the installation, disassembly, troubleshooting, and both periodic and predictive maintenance of all electrical equipment within the enterprise, ensuring full compliance with occupational safety and food safety regulations.
Work Location: Istanbul (Tuzla and Dilovasi), Turkiye
Reporting Line: Plant Leader
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize, implement and control the maintenance activities at electrical equipment, in line with the company’s established set values, goals and objectives, safety and quality policies and standards.
- Lead the contractors, to troubleshoot and repair malfunctions, in mechanical or electrical systems and other equipment.
- Ensure the Preventive Maintenance Program is inline, with the set schedule.
- Perform regular testing on earthing protection system, spray dryers’ fire suppression system.
- UPS, diesel engine alternators, electrical circuit breakers, condition monitoring on rotating equipment and thermograph test on electrical connections.
- Develop documentation for maintenance procedures, to assist trouble shooting.
- Equipment calibration – ensure equipment list is kept up to date and calibrated in accordance to the agreed schedule.
- Preparing necessary report with analyzing and upgrading / improvement recommendation for management review.
- Assist in developing and implementing methods, techniques and procedures for repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Provide technical support to production by ensuring that equipment and machinery are well maintained and optimized to achieve cost effectiveness.
- Perform daily routine inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance activities of plant equipment.
- Maintain records of maintenance, repair works and subcontractors works.
- Perform any task assigned by the superior from time to time.
Must be willing to work extended hours on an on-call and / or overtime basis as required.
Qualifications and skills
- Preferably graduated from Vocational and Technical High School / Vocational High Schools (Vocational School) Electrical / Electronics Departments.
- Able to use basic power tools and measuring instruments.
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance / PLC and Automation.
- Experienced in Electrical Maintenance or Pneumatic, Hydraulic and robotic systems.
- Knowledge of communication such as ethernet.
- Knowledge of Electrical Control and able to read Electrical Projects.
- Knowledge of motors, instruments and valves
- Strong coordination skills, result oriented and prone to teamwork.
- Have the ability to think analytically, be creative and willing to learn.
- Able to use Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Outlook MS Office programs at an intermediate level.
- Preferably experienced in digital technical drawing and able to read machine technical drawings.
