About the role

The Sales Manager will focus on identifying opportunities and creating sustainable profitability for Kerry within the food service market with specific focus on Da Vinci Gourmet. Kerry's approach to the foodservice market requires a push and pull philosophy with both direct and indirect sales to support the Key accounts and Distribution partners. The successful candidate will lead this activity in Pakistan market, working with appointed distributors to drive growth in the independent sector as well as utilising a complete menu management approach with applications and marketing support. We need someone with highly developed influencing and communication skills that can develop and maximize relationships in key customers to secure long term business growth.
 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead with Passion: Drive sales efforts to exceed customer expectations, collaborating seamlessly with R&D, Marketing, and other teams.
  • Functional expertise: Be Kerry’s DaVinci Gourmet expert in your market and capable of sharing trends and market insight both internally and externally.
  • Innovate and Implement: Develop and execute market routes, including distribution models.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Establish and nurture professional relationships with key customer personnel, becoming their trusted advisor.
  • Achieve Excellence: Meet and surpass sales targets and strategic objectives for your accounts.
  • Strategic Vision: Lead strategic account planning, setting ambitious performance objectives and financial targets.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Continuously assess and anticipate customer needs, ensuring we deliver unparalleled value.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Sales Plans: Develop and execute robust sales plans with international and local coffee chains/independents and distributors.
  • Strengthen Connections: Deepen relationships with key customers and distributors, fostering loyalty and trust.
  • Drive Growth: Expand existing business and proactively seize market opportunities.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with R&D, and Marketing teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Exceed Expectations: Achieve profitability and strategic customer objectives, maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Food Service Industry, with a stellar sales track record in the Pakistan food universe.
  • Functional Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Coffee & Beverage in Food Service space.
  • Industry Network: Strong connections within the Pakistan Food Service space, leveraging your network to drive success.
  • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomous and Collaborative: Ability to work independently while effectively utilizing regional and global team support.
  • Educational Background: bachelor’s degree in food science, culinary arts, barista certifications will be plus.
