About the role

As a Taste Production Supervisor, you will ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in production operations and oversee the training and development of your team. You will enable the team to deliver the production plan on time and with first-time quality, while managing payroll to minimize overtime. Additionally, you will be an active member of the Safety Team and participate in a brigade for Firefighting, Rescue, and First Aid.

Key responsibilities

  • Safety and Quality: Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in production operations. Ensure compliance with the training and development plan (Skill Matrix) for the team.
  • Production Plan Delivery: Enable the team to deliver the production plan on time and with first-time quality.
  • Personnel Management: Manage personnel in shift roles and control payroll, minimizing the use of overtime.
  • Safety Team Membership: Participate in the Safety Team and in brigades for Firefighting, Rescue, First Aid, and hazard analysis and risk control systems (IPER).

Qualifications and skills

  • Education: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years as a supervisor in manufacturing plants, ideally in the chemical or food industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: HCCP FSCC 22000 system, PPR PPRO, PCC, cleaning and sanitation processes, physicochemical analysis, continuous improvement (5S’s, 8 wastes, Ishikawa, KPI’s).
  • Skills: Leadership, payroll management, conflict resolution, autonomy, reporting and decision-making ability, analytical skills, basic knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Intermediate English (desirable).
